Corrections officers at the Brunswick and Tabor prisons are holding a public 5K run Saturday. A family bike ride will follow.
It's a part of the CRHS Family Health Fair at the depot in Whiteville, but will all start at the county courthouse at 8:45 a.m. with a kids run. The big race starts at 9 a.m. A family bike ride will start at 9:30 a.m. Entry fee is $20, with proceeds going to the Special Olympics.New age groups include: 7 & Under, 8-12, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60-plus.
