Well folks, Hollie Kinlaw of Whiteville has accepted the Walk / Run Personal Endurance Challenge, and she was the 200th person to register for Take the Lake 2011 - wow!
This is more than six times as many registrations as we had this time last year, and we hope that
increase is either because people are just getting serious about training for Take the Lake earlier in the summer, but it might be that people just want to win those two awesome Mustangs!
Here's a breakdown of who has registered:
Female: 115 Male: 84
Walk/Run: 143 Paddle: 42 Bike & Hike: 129 Swim: 16
Age under 20: 32 Age 20-39: 82 Age 40-59: 68 Age 60+: 18
Thanks again to Baird King of Quality Ford for purchasing and donating those tickets for the Mustang Dream Giveaway, a national drawing that raises money for the Healing Heroes Network, an organization that financially assists veterans wounded after 9/11/2001.
