The table below has times for the Walk / Run. Everyone who started at 8 a.m. can find their times below. Those who started earlier will just add the minutes they started before 8 a.m. See the "Full Screen" link? Handy.
We had a beautiful day today, with more than 400 runners and walkers finishing the 15-mile route from Elizabeth Brinkley Park to the dam and back.

A cool, foggy morning greeted everybody, but that burned off by 9 a.m. and only a nice breeze off the lake helped them under a hot sun.

Lake residents were out in force, giving participants good cheer, water and snacks, but most of all, big smiles and that great Columbus County hospitality.
Join in the TTL training fun, and leave a comment!

Had a blast with sis in law Amy yesterday. I have never run that much before and feel great about it. The lake residents were so nice, and we really appreciated the encouragement and treats along the way!!

Number 302 Heather Meares DID finish Take the Lake proudly with a time nearing 5:16:00 although I was listed as DNF. I finished with my girls Brandy Merry and Tiffany Sellers who were listed properly! Way to go girls!! Im so proud of us!! Thank you all for making this possible and encouraging us to obtain our goal.

A Little Disappointed

It is disappointing when you come out to an event like this and actually 'try' yet your time isn't recorded. I realize that this is volunteer based but I really don't care to waste my time on this next year if my time will not count.
