![]() We're trying extra hard this year to let area veterans know that we care about them, which is why we have a "military" theme for Take the Lake 2011. The yellow ribbon has long been used to express "welcome home!" which is how we all feel about our troops returning safely. But we also wish the best for these men and women after their return, and we feel a nice way to express this is by adding a small heart to the traditional yellow ribbon. We'll use this image for the rest of our 2011 campaign and may even make several for our veterans. If you have any suggestions, please contact us (under the far right tab.)
