A few friends of Take the Lake have sent me photographs, and I would like you to see them.
Dana Gore of Leland is with the famous Gore family of Whiteville and the Lake. The Gores have been tremendous supporters of Take the Lake since the pilot event in 2008, and this county is fortunate to have them on their side. Dana took most of the photos here, and If you do not see a name under a photo, then it is one of hers.
Diana Matthews of Whiteville, and Columbus County native Ashleigh Heath Armstrong of Raleigh have also supported Take the Lake from the start. Krystal Hawkins of Whiteville has taken many photographs for The News Reporter. Thank you Dana, Ashleigh, Diana and Krystal!
