![]() Why is this woman smiling? Because she's competing in the 2012 state N.C. Senior Games in Cary. North Carolina has the largest senior games organization in the country, and a group of ambitious people are working to bring the games here. If you would like to get in on the fun early, join us in a founders meeting at the Greater Whiteville Chamber of Commerce, October 16 at 2 p.m. The games include a wide variety of sports, hobbies, (including spincasting, left) and performing arts, and more than 11,000 people age 55 and older participated throughout the state in 2010. The state website offers loads of information, or visit the page on local games directly. Join in the TTL training fun, and leave a comment!
