![]() REGISTER BEFORE AUG. 10 to save $15 off solo and $10 off team entry fee! This is the second year for the X-TREME!, where participants compete in all four PECs in one day, Aug. 25. New this year are teams, which will be allowed to run alongside solo participants in a “back-to-back” format, or a gang start of Paddlers, Bike & Hikers and Walk / Runners at 8 a.m. All swimmers will start at 6 a.m. Two teams have registered. Southeastern Community College will be represented by the Fellowship of the Rams, and Lake Waccamaw by “Flip, Trip, Slip & Fall.” If you are planning on attempting the X-TREME!, please register, and give us some background for our competitors' wall. We'll brag you up to motivate our readers to want to be just like you! The X-TREME! is a competition and there is a an entry fee, whereas the Labor Day weekend series of PECs is not a competition at all, and there is no charge.
