Thommy Mintz of Ash, left, and Eric Brandt of Lake Waccamaw stand in front of the Take the Lake X-TREME! toteboard with banners they won in the 48-mile endurance event Saturday at the Lake. The two participants finished in less than 12 hours, 14 minutes apart, but because of confusion with the Walk / Run route, organizers gave the first-place title to both men.
The toteboard is on display at Dale's at the Lake with the names of the 12 participants and their times for each of the four Take the Lake Personal Endurance Challenges. Join in the TTL training fun, and leave a comment!
