![]() Julie Strickland, left, with Columbus County Parks and Recreation and Beth Brown of Healthy Carolinians have developed a WALK kit that organizers can borrow for free to help them include fitness activities in their events. Healthy Carolinians is offering a special kit it hopes will help make Carolinians healthier right here in Columbus County. In a joint project with Take the Lake and Columbus County Parks and Recreation, the group bought items needed to organize a footrace or any type of fitness or athletic event. The Walk Activity Loaner Kit, or W.A.L.K. will be available for free to organizers of festivals or other Join in the TTL training fun, and leave a comment!
