![]() It all started with a name, really. I mean, when the term "Bike-Centennial" comes into your head, and your city is celebrating its 200th birthday, well, you just have to organize a bike ride! And so, we did, and we held it during the Columbus Regional Healthcare third annual Family Health Festival at Vineland Station in Whiteville June 18. I told everyone when they finished that they had "just qualified for the Take the Lake Bike & Hike," and they all smiled. ![]() Take the Lake was at the health fair in a big way, too, with a banner outside, and a booth inside. We handed out brochures, we talked up the event a lot, and we worked with other organizations to bring a bigger and better Take the Lake to Columbus County this year!
